Giuliano OttavianiGiuliano Ottaviani began his career at the age of 17 and has been creating art with great success for 35 years. He attended the School of Art in Perugia and holds a diploma in Fine Arts. In 1984, Ottaviani was awarded the Gold Medal of Arts, Sciences and Letters and, in 1991, he became a Knight of the Italian Republic. Ottaviani is a multi-faceted artist; his works range from sculptures in bronze, marble and wood to paintings in both oil and acrylic. He is at once a sculptor, a painter and a goldsmith. Elegance, beauty and harmony, together with originality and a touch of the surreal, characterize his works. The fluid nature of his sculpture can be attributed to his understanding of the innate properties of the materials he employs. Ottaviani has exhibited his works in his native Italy, as well as France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Greece, the USA, Canada, China and Syria.
